SASHI Launch Event
SASHI - India was launched recently at JP Fortune Palace, Mysore. The chief guest for the event was Prof Gangadhar, Head of the Department of Anthropology University of Mysore. The event was presided by Dr Kumaran, Associate Professor in Public Health, Medical Research Council Unit, and University of Southampton. Professor Catherine Robinson and Professor Rob Poole from Bangor University were guests of honor, members of SASHI - India team: Dr Murali Krishna, Dr Rajagopal, Dr Sumanth, Mr Sudeep and Mr Satish were present.

The event was attended by over 120 delegates from across the disciplines: clinicians, public health, education, social work, sociology, engineering, anthropology and allied health care services.
